The Battle of Thegmis took place in two parts during the Attolian/Eddisian/Sounisian war. It was a navy-based battle, taking place in the waters surrounding the island of Thegmis. In The King of Attolia, Eugenides mentions that Costis performed particularly well in the battle.
First Battle of Thegmis Edit
Sounis attacked the island, located very near Attolia's capital city, and won. They were assisted by the Medes, who corrupted the baron Staticos. Staticos changed Attolia's orders to her troops.
Second Battle of Thegmis Edit
Far less is known about the second battle of Thegmis, except that Attolia won the island back from Sounis with some effort.
